The son of a barrister and lecturer, Tony Blair was born in Edinburgh, but spent most of his childhood in Durham. At the age of 14 he returned to Edinburgh to finish his education at Fettes College. He studied law at Oxford, and went on to become a barrister himself.

do you really think you can become the Prime minister after leaving school at 16 years old, with no qualifications?
what do you think he did? had a few years on the dole, a spell in prison for armed robbery, then went down to the careers advice office and they said, why not give being the Prime Minister a go?

I am no British, neither American. Just European.
I see T. Blair as a good and determined prime-minister, mostly in economic achievements.
The British development in last 10/12 years is remarkable. Today UK is one of the strongest Europeans countries.
I see him as a new social democrat, who deserves my admiration. Of course he is no perfect, makes mistakes as everyone.
