My gifted Class Has suffered this problem. It had 7 of us crying in front of a teacher,I did not cry at first, until someone made fun of them for crying, I told him to shut up, and went out in the hall where the rest of my gofted class was, which is rare.

Even teachers do it sometimes, some of the teachers even refer to us as the gifted students in a group, it would be nice for them to call us individualy, as many in my class said they think we are question answering robots with no life

WHoa hello!!!! ^^ I belong to a class of scholars in my school ,section star diamond lolz!!!

Well yeah, other sections are pretty much mocking us. Like "Why are they in the contest, its not like they're paying there tuition fees?". "What a bunch of b*tches and b*stards, they were excused from their classes because they were the only section invited to attend OUR school's board of trustee's funeral!!!"

Hey its not like we had fun standing in the blazing heat for 3 hours straight!!!! *breathes* Anyways they're just jealous I think, because people are giving us special attention??? But they should try to understand, teachers pressure us in our studies, when the teacher gives them a project due next week, were given a project just 2 days before the deadline. wtf Plus I'm just a third year high school, but the lessons taught in my section are for college students

Ok, "gifted" alot of us regular people think u are really elitist pigs to call yourself "gifted". What are the rest of us, the world of morons? Its like the bumper sticker that says, "my kid can beat up your honor role student." So, do you think it would be better if the bully was gifted, or are gifted students never bullies?

Also, why dont you "gifted" kids get together and organize? This is just one stupid bully and there are alot of you. Put your "gifted" weenie heads together and get a plan, then do it. Dont tell me you have brains and no brawn. Get some!!!!

Here's what you do. You take your gift, put it in the back of the closet, where all gifts eventually go anyway, and get yourself a new gift. The new gift will be this: You will stand up for yourself no matter what. You didnt say what the bullying is, but I can tell you that by standing around crying, you are letting the bully control you and thats exactly what he wants. Your new gift will be that you refuse to back down, that you will stand up to this loser, because this bullying wont stop until you do.

Nope, I went to a private school that had a mentoring program for the underclassmen. Teachers were also extremely strict. Upperclass looked out for the 'little ones' to make sure no one step out of line. Every so often, someone (usually newcomers) would try to test the boundaries and immediately 'punished/humiliated' as well as got councelling after school. Since my graduation class was less than 100 people, we all knew each other well.

It sucks that people make fun of eachother for that, but I believe everyone is made fun of for a little bit of their life.

I know I was, but I didn't accept it. I didn't think I deserved it. And, I didn't allow it. Not everyone can find a way to stop it; but you can decide to reject it, and understand that it is a short term thing.

Nobody makes fun of me now, and there was never a reason in the first place anyway... (just an older kid who picked me out of the blue to pick on). He's no longer around, and my life went on as usual. How will your life go on as usual when your bullies leave you??? ...live like that now, they'll be gone soon, hate is short lived.

sure that's a large thought, in case you ought to make it realllllly particular, flow to the dollar shop and purchase a espresso mug (or use one out of your cabinet, purely confirm it does no longer have any cracks or chips on it), then get a pair packets of those one cup servings warm candies (you ought to purchase a container of swiss pass over or nestles for a pair of dollar - use 2 or 3 packets tucked interior the cup and you will have the different 9 or 10 leftover for your self!!!) then use a sheet of tissue paper or some newspaper or paper towels and wrap that around the cup then stuff it right into a lunch bag sized paper bag, if the bag is actual undeniable you are able to beautify it with drawings of marshmallows :)

I was/am a gifted student. In grade school and middle school, nobody ever had a problem with me. Everyone was always super nice to me and kissed my a$$. I was actually kind of popular because of it.

PS... you have a lot of spelling errors for a gifted student.

It's the way of life in the states, maybe other countries too...for the dumber kids to beat up on the smarter kids...the only way they know to lash back. Have pity on the dumber kids...they grow to be adults with a long life of pitiful poverty as they furl their eyebrows in a vain attempt to understand what happened, what is happening, and what will happen next...

If by "gifted" you mean the smarter kids in the school, then no. That was never the case for me. I felt that other people were intimidated by me and my classmates. Either that or they wanted to hang out with us.
