Uninstall the whole thing and then download these (free) and they work.
Run the tool and then download the free spyware and virus protection programs:

id your Mcafee is a all in one fire/wall /anti virus you cant do the uninstall
if you have Mcafee fire walll
and Mcafee anti virus
then you can unstall the firewall
click on start /control panel
click add/remove/programs
click in the list for Mcafee firewall
click on remove tab
