I had one friend for 5 years. We stuck by each other sides no matter what. If she wasnt going to school, i wouldnt go, vice versa - simply because we didnt have anyone else to talk to and hang around. We were joined at the hip. I think all in all, we were both eternally grateful that we werent looked down upon by others because we only kept to ourselves. So to answer your question, yes, yes i am happy having only one friend.
Dont think that because someone has one friend that they are a 'social downgrade' or a boring human being. But simply because they only need one other friend in their lives to complete them and not 10.
