The first thing you need to do is seriously chillax. Loads of people manage to get their driver's liscense and be the worst drivers in the world. You'll be fine. Listen to your instructor and follow the traffic rules.

My best advice would be to first of all relax and know that you will be great at it!!!
Some tips are:
-drive in an empty parking lot first to get an idea of what it is like
-start out on backroads that have few stops and cars
-always pay attention to what is going on in traffic, being alert and knowing what is going on will make you more confident
-when trying out the expressway/highway for the first time try and go when it is a downtime, such as really early in the morning (6AMish) to get a feel for getting on and off it
-have fun but know you are gaining a huge responsibility

Concentrate and focus on what you are doing. If you're driving with the instructor, listen to what he has to say. Don't let anything else distract you. Drive the limit, remember to look over your shoulder when changing lanes to make sure a car is not in your blind spot. Flip your turn signals about 300 feet before you need to make the turn, don't wait till the last second. Study the manual and don't forget the symbols and directional signs.

please always look both ways before the light changes or at a stop sign.sometimes people run red lights or stop signs.always wear your seat belt.take a deep breath and count to ten before you leave. if you are religious make the sign of the cross. relax and don't put the radio on loud.pay attention !!!NO CELL PHONE TALKING.
PLEASE DON'T EVER DRINK AND DRIVE AND DON'T LET YOUR FRIENDS DRINK AND DRIVE.
after you get more experience you will feel more comfortable.don't worry everyone feels like this. just remember your growing up and need to act responsible now.good luck to you.

The best way to learn how to drive is with a calm cool teacher. DO NOT LET YOU DAD TEACH YOU. Becuase if the teacher keep freaking out you will freak out as well. It is easy.

Rule #1 ALWAYS keep your eyes on the road.. during my first drivers ed, i bent down to itch my foot and almost hit a mailbox

i remeber i was freaked out to but just remeber one thing alway have your foot on the break(in an automatic) when starting and going to drive or if you don't you will just take off.

Keep cool, take it easy. If you know you're gonna pass it, you will. Don't sweat it...and remember, there's always a 2nd chance...
