I would call us "apathetic". Nobody seems to care anymore about issues unless it is directly affecting them personally. It makes me afraid for us, because when people start waking up to the way things really are in this country, it may be too late.

Hypocrites, because they claim they love democracy and they destroyed countries in the Middle East to spread democracy! But when the Palestinian people elected Hamas they refused democracy because it doesn't suit their desires. Likewise they supports dictators in the countries and don't ask for democracy because those dictators are following their desires (Musharraf in Pakistan, and Mubarak in Egypt just to mention examples).

Stereotyped. The assumption that a nation is a reflection of it's people is ridiculous. People are people, shaped by their environment. That's especially true in America, seeing as we killed off or deported most of the natives.
