I just finished the third season, so please just your opinon on her character, no spoilers, i.e. "when she comes back in season 4...".

Myself I found her a little annoying at times, (STOP playing with your hair!) but in the end, of course, she came from a broken home, etc..so yeah, just a little misunderstood.

And yes, I know, she was hot.Heh.

I look forward to seeing "Once More With Feeling"..I've heard a lot about it. And I'm limited to the time I can watch Buffy so I don't know about being able to watch Angel concurrently. { it's a long story} and hey I'm 34!

I really liked Faith as a character (and, yes, she is way hot - but I am older than 34, so I am not really supposed to acknowledge that - too much).

She gets played in Season 3, as the misunderstood and out-of-sorts and different (in her own way) type of girl who goes evil (a natural turn of events, no?) but I never really saw her as "annoying".

But Joss Whedon is a lot about redemption - one of his underlying themes in each of his series. Everybody (almost, at least) gets to fall and get redeemed - either blatantly or not so (and that is as close as I will get to spoilerdom, except that I really liked Faith more after Buffy Season 3).

Try to watch Buffy 4 and Angel 1 concurrently. You can watch them independantly, of course, but there are several crossover episodes that work best if viewed together, including the memorable "I Will Remember You", Episode 8 in Angel Season 1.

Definitely misunderstood, but with a smidgen of annoying. The whole calling Buffy "B" thing got on my nerves the very first time I heard her say it. She's an intriguing character, though, one you'll come to enjoy as you work your way through the series.

Are you going to watch "Angel" concurrently? I believe it picks up in the chronology right around Buffy's season 3. I actually ended up liking Angel (the show) more than Buffy (the show), but it might be because I'm older (37) and I found it a little harder to relate to the younger "kids" on Buffy. (Though I still think Xander is awesome).

BTW, brace yourself for "Once More With Feeling," in season five - possibly the very best single hour of television you'll ever watch, especially after watching the entire series in order up to it. Don't give in and go watch it early - see it when it comes in the chronology. I'm *still* in awe of that episode, and I first saw it years ago.

I think Faith may have been misunderstood but she has to at least partly blame herself. She was given opportunities to work some things out and she refused to take them. That, and Buffy was so threatened by her I feel I should come to Buffy's defense. "Once More With Feeling" is worth the wait. I have the soundtrack on CD so I can sing along (badly) in the shower.

Charmed? ugh. that's gotta be Buffy. each and all of the characters are classic: Buffy, the mary Sue Daphne. Then Xander, the Fred/Shaggy hybrid. Then Willow, lesbian Velma. And Giles, that creepy previous guy in a mask. ... uh, I mean Scooby Doo. IDK, I purely like Buffy greater effectual. She exchange right into a type of characters i like to hate, yet her acquaintances are lots greater exciting. Plus Angel spun-off from BTVS, and that's one among my widely used exhibits.

She was a ***** when she went dark side and joined the mayor in his plans to waste Sunnydale. However, she is a conflicted character. She's a tough person on the outside but inside holds something else. In later seasons, she comes back and starts to redeem herself and she's even on an episode of Angel, but of course, you don't want me to tell her. See for yourself.

The rule is One slayer...I think that because she became slayer on technicality that the will of one of the slayers had to break. Faith was less trained and greener. She slipped to the dark side...

but at least Zander fufilled my fantasy.

She's both i think, manipulative and conniving but at times really misunderstood. I think she really enjoys the killing so maybe she's a sociopath

She fights evil, she can be annoying, she is maybe just a little missunderstood, and she is hot.
