i just moved from california to texas because of my dads job and now i have to go to a new school where i know absolutely no one. the last time i went to a new school in california i was popular but because my cousin was the most popular girl in school and she helped me out. but i guess what i am trying to say is that i need advice on how to make friends so........... can you help??!!??
P.S.:where should i sit at lunch on the first day??

At school, find people who look like they have the same interests as you....I know it can be kinda hard confronting people and trying to make friends, because people are so afraid of rejection. Sometimes you just have to step out there and do things that test your comfort zone....it is healthy and will help you become more comfortable in situations like this. Most of all, be yourself....when I meet people, I am completely turned off and annoyed by them when I can tell they are acting fake. Keep in mind that people attract their own kind. Whatever kind of person you are, people like you will gradually just come your way....!

try not to become a teachers pet, dont try to fit in with the 'cool kids' be your self wear what u think is cool and sit anywhere at lunch.

Forget about this popular craze... it will do you no good in life. Focus on your education, your classes, and your studies. Find those who do the same... they will be excellent friends.
