Aside from Mickey, Pluto was occassionally Donald's and Goofy's pet (it's in Wikipedia, turd, look it up---if, that is, you can comprehend words longer than 3 syllables).

what people r saying u know the Walt Disney series with mickey,Minnie,goofy,Donald,Pluto etc
is just a cartoon and anything can happen in cartoons so i wonder why r people surprised by cartoons characters behavior anyways although i though Pluto was mickey dog but sometimes it is strange if goofy has Pluto has a dog u r right they r both dogs but the difference is Pluto cant talk human where as goofy can maybe there is a big differences?? anyways like i say it a cartoon where anything can happen

I've been a dog lover all my life, since we had a german shepherd dog when I was a toddler. I have my own Australian cattle dog puppy now.
As a lifelong admirer of real canines, I just want to say that GOOFY and PLUTO have always irked me. I'm insulted by them and by Disney in general. I don't like the nonsensical myth that dogs are stupid (or that mice are cute or ducks are bad tempered or that chipmunks are pranksters). I'm annoyed and offended by the creepy mythology involved here.
Goofy and Pluto could become road kill tomorrow and I wouldn't care.

Goofy is not normal.
I don't know if it's right, but it certainly isn't fair. Goofy might be able to speak but... come on, is like saying that a parrot can have a mute baby just because of the ability to repeat sounds! Pluto is way more clever than Goofy, who totally lacks of fashion sense, like...
