I cant read much from your question, but the best way is to get right back out into the job market and start applying.
A lot of people make the mistake of waiting much too long to start the process..(i.e., going on unemployment, ect.) when they could be getting a job.
I am sorry for your loss..job securtiy is hard to find these days, but nonetheless, idleness wont get you anywhere.
Make sure you go over your finances carefully in these times too.

Assuming you weren't working in some position where there is only one place in the world to do that job, and with only one possible shot at doing that work, then just move on and get another job asap. You will probably find out that you'll be happier now that you moved on.

Take the opportunity to assess your skills. Make sure your doing what you enjoy..This is your best chance at success in the future.
Clearly outline your objectives both short term and long term, with specific benchmarks along the way to judge by. Share these ideas with folks you network with, for their input. Be ready to make adjustments.
Make a promise to yourself that you will do something positive each and everyday till you achieve your goals..In fact make that two things; something easy and something not so easy.
And finally don't let rejection ruin future opportunities. Keep each contact separate and thus in context. Keep swinging that's the only way anyone hits a home run.

I feel for you, dude. I've been there myself. Just hang in there, keep looking for other jobs, (network with people you know, help wanted newspaper ads, local employment offices, even internet)
Like I say, I've been there before, so you can do it, too!
