fams go 92-95.. because wen u ready to start adding things to the car its cheaper and easyr with a eg plus 92-95 is obd1 meaning u cant chip the ecu and do more things with it the 99-00 (they suck obd2) Theres not a lot you can do about this as OBDII is notoriously hard to tune at the best of times, You could go with the conversion harness and an OBDI ECU and then swap back to stock for your test... this depends on how much you're gonna do to the car tho, I don't think you'd get away with forced induction as this takes a lot of modding to the management and simply would not work if you had to revert back to stock. Another way you could do it is to use an air flow converter such as Apexi's V/Safc or HKS super AFR, these are better suited to normally aspirated setups but also require a fair amount of tuning themselves...

I have the 96 hatchback and I love it. But if u like the 92-95 body style, def go w/ that over the coupe. It handles a LOT better on turns, not to mention looks a million times better!

if you have that option...why don't you look into the 99-00
civic si . either or , which ever way you want to go . both of those vehicles has lots of different sources where you can always do modifications . but if you have the doe ray mee , get the 99-00 civic si .

The "bubble" would save more gas which is what you need especially for a beginner.
