I think that a true friend is someone that just lets you cry on there shoulder and they will let you blubber on without interupting. A friend is someone who is honest, they will tell you the truth when you need to hear it and they will have a laugh so hard you pee your pants fit with you.

alot depends on what you have been thru.. my self I can say that I had a friend who lived in same state as me.. we became close for 4yrs. and then she moved away.. we could go 4-5 months not tallking and then all sudden p/u where we left off.. also a person who listens to your problems and dont interrupt to tell you about theirs, a person who asks about daily life (kids if you gottem), and also is to the point if you are wrong they tell you, no matter if feelings get hurt or not. they should not get mad at you at all, if so, then thats not a friend, cause if they get mad at you for that, then they wanted you to lie to them, to make them feel better, and if you have to lie to a friend. their is no trust

I guess if they listen to everything you say and are able to understand you. Whenever I try to have a heart to heart conversation with one of my friends she either always takes it the wrong way or wants to argue, or just doesn't get it.

someone who will be there through think and thin good times and bad. someone who knows your favourite drink or your fav food. someone who is just there, just a arm reach away. and who loves you for you and nothing else
