I don't have a problem with it at all. In fact I think it's better to commit to one person than float around between a bunch of people. It's a matter of integrity. I see other people have answered that immature people can't do it and that's probably true. For me, it's all about ethics. I'd never let myself have more than 1 girlfriend because it wouldn't be fair to her. What's the point of having a relationship if you aren't going to take it seriously and be faithful?
I guess the only explanation for guys refusing to commit is because they're afraid to get tied down. It's a genetic trait inherited from thousands of years of evolution. It's primate-like instinct that drives men to want to spread their genes to as many females as possible. On the other hand females, who would generally be stuck with caring for children, would be less likely to be unfaithful.

Not all guys find it hard to commit.
I found my match on first try (what luck!) and he has no problem commiting, in fact, he told me he wanted to commit to me even before anything serious really happened.
I think it depends on the guy.
Nice guys truly do finish last because they're tossed aside too easily. They're "too good of a friend" to date..
Not to mention its a fear of being tied down. Not only men but women as well find it hard to commit to only one person for the rest of their lives, so they run.
Its a maturity thing too.. immature people can't commit.
Its a fact.

Because guys are jerks.
Im only kidding.. a lot of times girls dont want to commit either. They want to have fun and see different people before deciding on settling with one person. You just have to give them time and theyll come around. If not, theyre not worthy of you.

I don't sweety. I recently bought a $20,000 (but money has nothing to do with it) ring for my now ex girlfriend who wanted commitment, as much as I did to her as well (and still very much do) but we broke up before I proposed. This girl is everything to me....I love her so much. But she got scared.

Because, biologically, it's not in our nature. There's a reason that females outnumber males. It takes a man that's in control of his animal instincts that tell him to mate with anything and everything on two legs.
