coming from a guys standpoint.. lets seoo how good i answer this.
1. guys really like doing things thier way. women tend to want to bend a guy into how they want him. actually kind of making us want to commit less.
2. Guys unlike women are more about physical than emotional, guys are more for the sex, with more than one person, as frequent as possible, women are more about the romance and the need to be with that single person to fullfill your needs for the rest of your life.
3.we like to watch sports, drink beer, and party.
we know that at times we will not get to do those things if we commit.
keep in mind this isn't ALL guys just some.

That depends a lot on a guy's age. If you are talking about a guy in their teens or twenties, it's not such a bad thing to find out who you are and what you like in a relationship. that means going out with more than one person, usually. Not at the same time of course, that's risky on a number of levels. Settling down before you know who you are is a big reason for divorce later. People change, and most guys in their early twenties are just beginning to figure themselves out, much less women.
If the guy is older, that's another story entirely. It could be baggage from a previous relationship, fear of settling down and what that means about him (marriage=age=mortgage, kids then retirement then death) or it could be simple selfishness.

Because we are afraid of being rejected. it was so hard for me to commit to my girlfriend because i didnt know if she felt the way i felt... the best thing to do if your a girl in this situation or guy is talk about it with the other one... thats what i did and its helped so much
