Hi. Im 22 yrs old and not activly Trying to conceive, although Im not on birth control. My cycles have been regulatr for the past 6 months, which is excellend considering I have PCOS.
My period always lasts 5 days, and has since I first got it 10 yrs ago. This last cycle (July 25) only lasted 2 1/2 days. It was pretty heavy, so I didnt think anything of it. Around that time and a bit before and after I had intercourse. Now Im having sore nipples (never have before) pretty bad, irratability and Im tired all the time.
Because I did have bleeding (still pretty heavy) is there a chance I could be pregnant? or does it sound like a hormonal imbalance?
**************************************************
Please note I am happily married, and have been for 2 years. Im not activly TTC (trying to conceive) but we are letting nature take its course. Do not come in here and judge me, just answer my question. Thanks************************************************

Congratulations, you might be pregnant. Some of the signs you stated indicate that it is possible. However, there are also other things that might be going on. You should buy 3 pregnancy test kits and take the tests over an 18 hour period. Take one ever 6 hours. The tests might show yes or no or both...if it shows yes or both...see your Dr! Start thinking of names! Good Luck

If you didn't use protection, your chances are good. I know this woman who took 3 tests and they came out negative but she was so sure that she was pregnant from her nipples being sore and tender, I wasn't going to argue. She had a baby boy in March. I've heard that right before you get your period is the most likely time in which to become pregnant. And remember, not all those tests are accurate during the first couple months. G-Luck.

Well I guess you could be pregnant, or could have been (???). You're certainly experiencing pregnancy symptoms. I would see a doctor immediately. Considering your PCOS, you need medical advice if in fact you are pregnant. I'm confused about the amount of recent blood you've been losing. When you're pregnant, it is possible to experience bleeding (due to the embryo attaching itself to the uterus, etc.) but this should not be a lot of blood.
In any case, please see a doctor and good luck.
