My last day of work is coming up and I want to tell everyone off in a special way.

Some background information:

1. The job is Marshalls, basic retail, picking up crap, etc.
2. The job is low-paying, my first job, irritating hours, and completely thankless
3. My next job will most likely be a work-study job at UF, so I don't really care about maintaining a positive image of my stint at Marshalls.
4. The managers and an assortment of obnoxious chicks with attitudes have been annoying the hell out of me for the entire stay there.

One of the things I was gonna do was to fill opened condoms with soap and leave them in various places in my nemesis's area.

Keep in mind, this last day I have is worth about twenty bucks.

Blahblah blah. Whatever, chick. Look, I'm not looking to murder people. I'm not insane, idiot. I simply want to make an impression. References? Who needs that? NOT ME. Read the description; it's there for a reason.

You don't think your first employer out of UF is going to call your last 'real' employer for a reference? Odds are, you're wrong. I just started working for an employer in Florida and they called every employer I've worked for over the past 10+ years. They called every reference on my application. They did a background check of both my driving record and criminal record.

SO... stay in good graces with at least one 'manager' at Marshalls. Have a great last day.

Please do not do anything that you may regret on your last day. Before you go out with a bang, bear in mind the following:

a) you may need them for references in the future
b)they can still fire you even if you have given your notice and it's your last day
c)you may meet someone you insulted and need their help in future
d)they can still press charges if you act violent or threatening.

Don't burn your bridges. Be happy that you are moving on to a better place and they are probably stuck there forever. There is a wonderful Chinese saying that says: "If you have an enemy, sit by the river and wait. Sooner or later your enemy's body will come floating by."

Just keep thinking about what you would like to do if you could. Don't do stupid stuff you may regret later, and it is best to not burn bridges for you may need to cross that bridge at a later time. You don't know what the future holds. Be respectful, courteous, and be glad to have a different job to go to. I tell you what, you are going to run into annoying people anywhere. So, just think about what you would like to do but don't. What you do, how you behave reflects who you are. You don't want to be remembered in a negative light. Good luck in your new job endeavor.
