If a non-physical entity, such as the wind and a solid object, a tree, interact, wouldn't this go against
the criticism that the 'soul', being non-physical cannot interact with body?

the debate over mind and body interaction goes on. i'd say, there is an interaction.

mind cannot exist without the body, likewise the body cannot exist without mind. soul/mind and body are two separate entities that can't be without each other.

The mind is the result of neurological activity in the brain. The wind is the result of physical events on the earth, in the atmosphere and on the sun among many other things such as astronomical events that we cannot even measure accurately..

I am not denying your opinion that soul cannot interact with body. But, if we think deep - soul can ignite thoughts and thoughts can activate body actions. Like a computer programme activates a heavy machinery. I think this is what really happening in us. Mind is a reality and we cannot deny it just because it is not a physical organ. Between visible and invisible world - mind is the link.

The use of the word mind today usually refers to the actions of the brain or what you think (neurological activity in the brain) and obviously the brain is real. For your soul question click the link below.

The mind is not physically real. It is a very sensitive area that I believe might possibly BE the soul.
