No it does not have anything to do with a tune up. As everyone else said it is the airbag system. Most common on that car is a part call the slip ring. Its behind the steering wheel and has contacts on it that can wear out over time. Also some times the seat belt buckle get something spilled on them and short out. Take it to some one who works on only MB cars who will know how to read the codes so they can fix it the first time.

No the SRS is a airbag system...they are very good in mercedes benz even if you have a crash and your battery explods before the airbag goes off it will still go off if your battery has exlpoded.
There nice systems.
