I was wondering if it would be easier to have it at my house or at my fiancees house. I live on a dirt road but the main road is on more than 75 feet from my house. My fiancee lives in town and he thinks more people would come there. I was also wondering if it would be a good idea to try to maybe sell limonade or something too. I've never tried that before so I really dont know. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Have the yard sale in town if possible. More people will come to the sale if it's easier to get to the location.

People like to be able to make a quick stop at yard sales, and won't go far out of their way to get to one unless they know that there is something great at the sale that would make it worthwhile to drive a distance. Plus with gas so high, many people want to minimize their driving.

About the lemonade, I'd just offer ice water for free instead, using cheap paper cups. People will appreciate it, and might browse longer. I'd only do the lemonade stand if I had kids who could sell the lemonade. They could handle the nickel or dime charge for th lemonade while buyers for merchandise could come to you to pay.

Good luck! I hope you make lots of money.

Have the yardsale wherever the most people will see it. Having said that, if your fiance's house has bad parking, it may hurt overall. Just depends on getting people to the tables. As for the lemonade, give it away. Don't try to squeeze a dime out of a nickel. It just turns people off.
