Wives tale. If you dream about fish however, someone close to you is pregnant.

I did dream about a fish in my tummy before i knew i was prgnant,so i think it is kind of a message to yourself about things going on in your belly,although i am sure not all pregnant ladies dream like this.i had not even heard about this,and only remembered my weird dream after and then one day heard it was an old wives tale.Believe it ,or not.It is true,for me.

A dream is a nocturnal brain process. Often what you dream is what you were thinking about before you fell asleep. (i.e., perhaps you were thinking that you may be preggy due to some recent sexual ativity, ect.)
If you have a dream about a baby and are pregnant, then it is most likely a coincidance.

Old Wives tales aren't true but sometimes they happen to be right. Don't know if that makes sense, but yeah..

not true. You dreamed because you thought. Having pregnant because you have sex, not because you dream.
You have to know what caused the dream. Many times, it is based on actual event, media effects.

i've been pregnant 6 times, i usually dream about a million little fishes swimming and swirming aound, i've dream about a zillion ants, and the last time i was pregnant i dreamed about millions of roaches, so that's how i knew i was pregnant before i had any symptoms.

Almost every time one of the girls at my work dreams she is pregnant, it turns out someone else at work is. It's really strange, but it seems to work.
