Why do you suck?
There are a lot of players that play to feed their families.

I think the NFL sucks for several reasons. First of all the players are more like mutants every year. No normal person could play American football anymore, so that makes the game kind of bogus for me right off the bat. Secondly, (and this is as true for most other sports as well), there really is the feeling that it’s all about the money, players jump from team to team, and any sense of sportsmanship is missing. Really, most of players act like spoiled little high school kids. Thirdly, the coverage by the NFL is sooo lame. They focus way too much on who, or what went wrong with events, plays and calls which have already occurred. The announcers rarely express honest, insightful, or informed thoughts about the actual game. They talk stats, make a big deal out of the “stars”, and say inane things like, “Well, if Chicago is going to win they’re going to have to stop turning the ball over”. Every once and a while a game will be exciting despite all this, but for the most part, I’d rather DO something. Oh yeah, another thing, the money involved is obscene, and I’m not comfortable contributing to that either.

They play for the money in college anymore as well, at least the good ones. Heck look at the Ok. U. QB that was just released because he was padding his hours. That's the way things are. Don't say that is all the players though. If you really believe that you are an idiot. I could start by saying what about Jerome Bettis who was playing at LEAGUE MINIMUM for the Steelers because that was where he wanted to play. This was for a couple years. He could have gone to another team who would proably have loved a goal line back like that but he wasn't intrested in the money. If you look you will find there are alot of players that play for the game not just the money.

They play without a love for the game is right. I don't think there is a lot of passion most pro sports anymore. I'm not sure if its the money that gets to their head or what. But I think its slowly creeping into college athletes as well. There are still lots of exciting college games to watch compared to the pros but I can see it happening.

Um...the NFL is a job, most people actually don't like their job...they do it for the money.
