It hurts a lot and drains occasionally.... my mom said not to worry about it, but i'm not so sure....you can't really even see it. But if you feel around for it, it's definitely there. there's a history of cancer on my mom's side of the family, but i think she's in denial, and I probably am too...

Please share your thoughts with me.

Go see your doc. & get a check-up.
It's difficult to diagnose without proper testing.
It could be a cysts or a problem lymph node.
A cyst generally have a round appearance. A black, dark portion of the cyst is visible on the skin. If squeezed, the cysts exude a stringy, cheesy white material. If the cysts become infected, they will become red and tender. Sebaceous Cysts are primarily a cosmetic problem or a nuisance if they form in body regions that are easily irritated, such as the armpit. These cysts are benign and do not develop into cancer.
The lymph nodes are part of the lymphatic system. They have several important functions and are good indicators of disease. During a physical exam the external ones can be palpated to determine if they are enlarged. The medical term for this is lymphadenopathy.
Lymph nodes can enlarge due to several reasons: Inflammation
A reaction to a foreign body might cause this.
Infection: Bacterial, viral, or fungal infections can cause them to enlarge. This enlargement might be a sign that they are performing their job as expected. When the infection subsides the lymph node should return to normal size.
Hope this helps. Try changing your deodorant.

It's probably an infected hair follicle or sebaceous cyst. Malignant tumors (cancer) do not drain and are rarely painful. Don't worry too much, but go see your doctor anyway and get it taken care of. I'm sure its nothing. Really, don't worry.

Sweetie it might just be a zit. You can get them anywhere. If its still there in a week go to a doctor. I get them sometimes so u are not alone. It also could be a heat bump or allergic reaction to the deodorant you are using. Don't worry to bad but i would get it checked out by a doctor if it is bothering u so bad.

Sometimes lymph nodes can get hard and swollen - but if you have something draining that is not ok! It could be infected. You need to have it looked at by a doctor right away!

"Old folks" would call that a boil, or a risen they say if you put a really hot towel as hot as you can stand it and it should start to come to a head and start to leak. I guess, try it , let me know if you do it and if it worked

if it occurs during your period its probably normal and just a gland....however if it doesnt coincide with your period it may very well be a cancerous or precancerous growth...i would get it checked out just to be sure

go see a doctor ASAP. You have glands in that area beneath the skin and fat layers.
