Hi. Im 22 yrs old and not activly TTC, although Im not on BC. My cycles have been regulatr for the past 6 months, which is excellend considering I have PCOS.
AF always lasts 5 days, and has since I first got it 10 yrs ago. This last cycle (July 25) only lasted 2 1/2 days. It was pretty heavy, so I didnt think anything of it. Around that time and a bit before and after I had intercourse. Now Im having sore nipples (never have before) pretty bad, irratability and Im tired all the time.
Because I did have bleeding (still pretty heavy) is there a chance I could be pregnant? or does it sound like a hormonal imbalance?

Please note I AM married, and quite happily.
Also, sorry for confusion. TTC is trying to conceive, AF is aunt flo aka period and PCOS is polycystic ovary syndrome, when periods can be irregular and changes in insulin.
Thanks...

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. There are a lot of things that can cause irregularity with your period. Hopefully you are getting the Well Woman's exam yearly.
In case you aren't familiar, this is a trip to your gynecologist for your pap smear and breast exam. If you are overdue get in to see them as soon as possible and explain your concerns. They are the most qualified person to assist you.
It's probably not a big deal, but it's better to be on the safe side.
Hope everything is ok..

You could be pregnant. Wait a couple of weeks and take a pregnancy test at home or go get a blood test from your doctor if you want to find out for sure.
If you're not actively TTC and having unprotected intercourse without BC...what exactly are you trying to do?
Children at 22 and single is a good start to a very difficult life (unless you are independently wealthy). Abortion is a lousy method of birth control. The most common STD (herpes) is incurable...so which is it for you that makes this sound like a good idea?
Sorry to be so blunt...I'll pray for a negative test for you.

Okay, I don't know what TTC, PCOS, or AF are, but if you had unprotected sex, YES you could be pregnant. It was an unusual period for you and now you have symptoms of pregnancy. Go see your doctor and get tested.

Go to your doctor and get it checked out. It could just be a hormonal imbalance, but you CAN get pregnant during your period if you also ovulated.

This could be hormonal as you are making changes to hormones but you better get a pregnacy test to find out for sure.

You sound pregnant to me. I know women who had one period at the beginning of their (healthy) pregnancy and others who had their periods just like normal all through the pregnancy.
