Next Generation is the best because Picard is so damn sexy, but the original is a close second.

The original StarTrek was cutting edge at the time.
But looking back, I see really poor acting, especially on the part of William Shatner.
The best StarTrek to date is TNG.

I'm not too familiar with star trek. but i have seen a few episodes, the old ones and the ones that aired in the early 90's,when i was a kid. I'd have to say the origonal is better.

Actually, I prefer "Star Trek: The Next Generation" even though I hired Scott Bakula's brother (Brad) for a child custody case a few years back! :-D
(Scott played Capt. Archer on "Enterprise".)

SHATNER ALL THE WAY BABY!!! capt. picard was a better capt. though, but the shat is just so frikin awesome. show got watered down with the new stuff, but the old stuff is kinda corny. old all the way

next generation is wayy better but the original is still great. my faveorite episodes are i, mudd and the trouble with tribbles. =)
