The only one that could ever pull it off was Barbie. I think it's a big fashion No No.

Don't be a fraid of color. I find blue looks good on darker eye colors (mainly brown). On blue eyes it tends to wash out your color. If going for a blue shadow don't go solid blue - you don't want to overwhelm and look taky.
Use a base color - a neutral siver or light brown, purple can work too - and just accent. You can do the accent one of three ways. 1) Make a thicker line of shadow above you lashes/where you apply your eye liner. 2)The corner of your eye, just on the bottom above eye liner and a little in, slowly shade it/blend it well with your base color and then do a thin line under your bottom lashes, joining them together at the outer corner of your eye. 3)For something a little more bold start from the outer corner about half way up your lid and blend in a slight angle out and up - filling in down towards you lashes and blending in a little - blending is key. I really recommend a long hair eyeshadow brush, I love the angle or wedge shaped ones (the little ones they included with the shadow don't blend nicely and they make it blocky and too solid). Also see about getting a nice champagne color (covergirl has one) to fill in underneath your eyebrow - again it's that whole blending thing.
Hopefully my descriptions make sense - I tend to use Annabell in a shimmery irredecent blue (also I love the green) and it looks really good. If you find you've gotten a little too dark or too much color just tone it down with a swipe of your thumb and maybe take some powdered face press and brush it over your lid.

I think it would look fine... its just when little girls wear makeup, thats the color they usually pick, so people don't really like it, what I would do tho, is when you put it on your eye, just put it up high, then put a gold or white at the bottom, and put a silver or black eyeliner... also don't wear many other bright colors, if your wearing blush... make sure its not red... wear a clear lip gloss, then your face should look balanced... so i would say go for it! tell me if you like how it looks in the end.... hope i helped some!!!

It depends what clothes you are wearing and how you are wearing it. I like to wear it sometimes when I have a light blue top of mine on. Also, I have some blue eyeliner that looks really good against my blue-green eyes.

yes and no. if you want to look like you're in the 80's just learning to wear make up or going to a recital then stay away from true blues (dark or light) if you want a punch of color try cool shades like teal aqua or turquise. just remember to keep the rest of your make up neutral of corse.

It's a do, if done right. Don't apply it over the entire lid and stay away from chalky 70's versions.

I like blue on the people that can pull it off, others look like clowns.
