Well, give him credit for apologizing. Not too many men like to do that.

How about the two of you coming up with a "catch phrase" to use when he starts into a debate that you don't want to enter? When he starts to debate you say something like "peanut butter" or "flat tire" or what ever you two choose. That will be his signal that you don't want to debate right now.

Well wasnt he like this before you married him? He just likes to debate. If he starts debating, say nothing and walk away. And later point it out to him again. Or to get your point across get a big 50 cent poster board and write the words "Stop debating with me" or "everything is not up to debate" in big black letters on a white poster board and everytime he starts arguing with you grab it out from behind wherever you can hide it and stop talking and hold it up in front of you. You will get the point across.

Some things ought not be open to debate... like how you're feeling, what you're desires are... things that you alone know.

But what else do you regard as undebatable?
