You bet it does. It also takes away the ability to question anything.
One has very little own narrative. The information shown is rarely questioned and is accepted as fact.
It's quite frightening really as it leads to an even greater dumming down of the individual.

We dont even aspire to mediocrity any more. Just an acceptance that Bill Gates and his cronies have us in control.
