Imodium is a good over the counter anti-diarrhea medication. If the diarrhea continues you should see a doctor. You may need a antibiotic and lomotil (prescription anti-diarrhea and slows bowel contractions.) Start on a clear liquid diet for twenty four hours and than try bland foods. Slowly introduce other foods. Hope this helps.

Sometimes these things need to run it's course. If it is not too severe and has only been around for a day or two, try to wait it out. It most likely is not serious, and our bodies were made to handle this stuff. I have seen many peoples' stomach's get more twisted from Immodium. If it is beyond Montezuma's revenge, a complete 3-day fast on only water normally dries things up quite a bit. If you have a fever, blood in your stools, or any other creatures show up in your toilet, see a doctor, but be prepared for FUN tests!

Go to a doctor and have yourself tested. There's any number of things that you could have picked up in Mexico that cause diarrhea, and if you self-medicate, you're not going to take care of the problem, just mask it.

Try Immodioum AD. If the diarrhea does not stop within 24 hours, see your doctor. You may have picked up dysentery or typhoid.

oh no. you drank the water... thats a big no no. I would say just take any normal medication for diarrhea, stay hydrated, drink lots of water and sports drinks, get pedialyte popsicles.

Immodium AD. Drink water to keep you hydrated and if it doesn't go away in a couple of days see a doctor. Good luck.

Christ, what did you do, drink the water? Filthy place.
Anyway, Pepto-Bismal is best. If there's no improvement in 24 hrs., get to a doctor and tell him where you've been.

probably anti-biotics that you get at the doctor's. Drink plenty of fluids, and let the bugs run through your system. if it lasts more than 3 days, or you start feeling dizzy or weak, go to the doctor.
