I have an office downtown where I do my work ... absolutely everything is organized to a "t" even when my desk is in a mess; even this gets cleaned up at least once a week. I always know where to find things, which file each item belongs to ... but at home, I am absolutely lost and overwhelmed. I think a lot of this has to do with the energy I commit to keeping order at work ... and the need to let go when I go home. This is normal.

Yeah me too. I work as an accountant so I have to be very organized at work. At home I'm totally the opposite. Everything is a total mess! I often lose my keys and cellphone. I keep up with my clients' finances, but I hardly keep track of my own bank account! Kind of crazy.

Me too! I think it's because we have to be at work 8 hours, focused on work, so why not make the most of it and do a great job? At home, we have too many distractions, like kids, internet, t.v., telephone - you get the picture!
LOL.
