Here's the trick. Neither will admit they gossip.

Women are just passing on some information, guys are swapping stories.

I'm pretty much a tomboy myself. I think men generally are better secret keepers, though I do have a female best friend who is the best secret keeper. And I know a guy who's horrible about secrets.

Men can definately keep secrets better than women. but women gossip more! i gues it's just when a woman hears a piece of information that she finds interesting, she HAS to tell EVERYONE!!! this is also a reference to me. don't tell me no secrets because everyone on hear will know of it.

men keep secrets better because we usually are not listening anyways or forget quickly.

women gossip more because they feel they always need to be talking and they run out of things to talk about.

women and women. im personally a tomboy so i figure women have more reasons for keeping secrets. and they all flock together and gossip too. but we are emotional so we understand the need to shut it. not that all of us are trustworthy.

I'm a tom boy, so hey, I'm just like one of the boys. From my life experiences, I have yet to tell a secret. I'm know as the secret keeper. My lips are sealed shut when it comes to keeping stuff told to me.

I think it just depends on the individual. I've known people of either sex who can't keep their mouths shut and likewise either who I would trust.
