There's this Lebanese female artiste. Her name is Nawal Al Zoghbry. Doesn't exactly sound like Shakira, but the Arabic and booty-shaking music elements are all there. Go to youtube for some of the music vids.

She is born in Colombia South america, her parents are: mother from colombia and father from Jordan, in the Middle east. and I think that Selena (and the dinos) sing like her ( and had the same nice body) and the same kind of music the Cumbia.
