Hallowe'en rocks because it's the last low pressure holiday before Christmas and Thanksgiving in the States hit. Fresh air, exercise, visiting the around neighbourhood, then pigging out on candy while watching scary movies! So much fun!!! Even costume planning is fun!
New Year's is fun because it's more time with friends than family, and you're a hit if you are a designated driver and stay sober.
Thanksgiving is great. Love turkey. We do it twice!!
Christmas is alot of pressure, though. Like to decorate the tree, do the church bit, vacay from school is great, family dinner with all the trimmings, but having enough cash for gifts overshadows it all. It's real stress, and if a store sells out of an item, it's a real scramble!!!
Easter rocks, too. Love eggs, decorating and eating! Killing the sacrificial chocolate bunny then going to church....good times had by all!
Any holiday that involves fireworks? I'm there too!

I agree with normobrian,what a load of rubbish....Halloween is a treat for little kids,New Years Eve means we are off and running again....Thanksgiving is an American celebration where everyone gets in touch that cant be bothered the rest of the year and traditionally women knock their pan out in the kitchen and usually end up with most of the cleaning up while their kings retire to the den to watch "the bowl games"so that was a blast..then we have xmas,have mercy!people come together to celebrate the birth of The Christ and end up getting drunk and abusive towards each other and their families,people have to be nice to each other because its xmas,people max out their credit and forget last New Years resolution not to do that this year..I`ve had the worst and the best of holidays and 1 thru 4 is what you make it personally my favorite holiday is one where I can destress on a flight to peace and quiet.
