First of all, set a real plan on what needs to happen in Iraq for us to slowly withdraw our troops. Right now, that doesn't exist.
Second of all, repeal most, if not all, of the most recent tax cuts, which only went to benefit the wealthiest of Americans.
Third, ratify the Kyoto Protocol. It's the right thing to do. However, understandably, there is going to be a hit on the economy by doing so, but it will help in moving this country away from the gas-guzzling country we are. And it can't screw up the country any worse than it already is. In fact, in the long-run, it will make it better.
Fourth, start repairing relationships with the international community. We can't fight the ills of the world on our own, and we need to begin to realize it, otherwise, our nation will go the way of the Roman Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and Great Britain. We have to use our power and wealth to lead the world through our diplomatic actions, not our militaristic actions.

Well, here is my election speech... LOL.
The first order of business I would do is I would open up the White House as a homeless shelter, and I would live in an adequate apartment somewhere in DC. You see, all the jobs that were sent overseas have made for MANY more homeless people, and ask Bush if he ever cared... he didn't.
Then I would invest in LOTS of bubble wrap instead of bombs, (I think we have enough of those to distroy the world 180 times over.) The reason I would buy the bubble wrap is that it is completely irrisistable to ALL humans of many walks of life. NO ONE can resist it. So, I would put poison gasses into the bubble wrap, and I would send nice little gifts, wrapped in the bubble wrap, to the people we are trying to kill off on forign shores... when they open the nice gifts, the would then pop the bubble wrap, killing ONLY those people we are trying to kill, and save the woman and children who are innocent. This would also save MANY deaths of our beloved family members in the military.
I would take the money saved on bombs, (that is now only spent on bubble wrap and poison gas,) and I would reduce taxes. Hell, if we stop building bombs, just think, we would have no deficit in no time.
I would see to it that the TEACHERS in our children's schools would be paid better, so that maybe, the people who are teach OUR FUTURE would be able to afford to live. You see, this is something SO wrong with this country. Instead of investing in our future, we pay the adults who are doing nothing to insure that this place will be a great place for our children and grandchildren to live in.
If I were president, I would invest in fishing line, LOTS of it, so that I could string up EX president Bush, right out in the open, where the people affected by his stupidity could come and pay thier respects any way they felt necessary...
DAMN isn't it a shame I am NOT the president now?

I would hold a conference and announce that we did make mistakes, admit them, say we were sorry and ask for the world to forgive us.
America is seen around the world now as this arrogant, egotistical country and few other countries really admire us anymore.
We are seen as this big bully who throws our weight around at the world.
We need to stop throwing our might in people's faces around the world.
We would be well-served to offer the world some of our affluence and respond to the world in real kindness.
The ways that we have been kind have been overshadowed by our brute force on the world. No one people hate us and want to kill us.
Offering love in the only answer that works. By love (I mean) we should offer ourselves to the rest of the world in sacrifice -- helping solve problems.
I'd change to whole focus to that.

I would seal the border (he hasn't done that yet) I would fire any of Clinton's Cronies that are still in appointed positions and I would shrink the size of the federal government by about 2/3. I would step up the war on terror and get it over with. I would release 100,000's of acres of land so that we can drill our own oil and I would cut welfare even more. Not the answers you were looking for I'm sure but I am not a mindless Bush Basher sorry.

I would erase anything that he supports about Immigration.
I would work on our failing Social Security.
I would allow stem cell research (not support, just allow).
I would get rid of anything having to do with a Federal Marriage Amendment.
I would cut spending across the board. I would get rid of all the useless garbage that involves federal largesse. I would support HR 25, the FairTax bill, to fix the abomination we call a tax code (BTW, not Bush's fault).
I would have my press secretary support and defend my ideas, rather than stay relativly silent and at arms length.
Unlike most, I have a central position that I can agree with Bush without blindly supporting him, and I can oppose him without screaming at him with sceething hatred. He has made some mistakes. IRAQ IS NOT ONE OF THEM. I disagree with him on a number of social issues, and on how easily he spends money. But I realize that Democrats spend money even faster, and they support social issues that I am completely at odds with.

Thats not a real question, thats more like an opinion to me.
What mistakes has Bush made? if im correct, he has done the best he could.
Its spoiled Americans who believe there can be someone that could make better decisions; but i think he is a great leader.
I can understand you might think of Bush as doing mistakes, but doesnt mean that everyone has to think like yourself.

You might want to add in what mistakes you are talking about.
No leader is ever perfect, Bush was blamed for not doing enough to stop 9/11. Now he is doing something about it: I don't think I could have done better.
So, by you saying he is making mistakes, you are implying that you could do better. Unless you list specifically what you think are his misakes and exactly WHY, how can we respond?

I'd call for a world conference of the leaders of all the nations of the world to discuss what we are going to do about the upcoming shortage of oil. We need to do this through peaceful means, such as discussion, decision making in the United Nations and the setting up of treaties and protocols instead of through war and domination.

george bush should resign and the US should not be the puppet of israel.
In the Qur'an, the end of the world will come about when there are no more good Muslims. In order for that to happen, it describes a massive war: the world against the Muslims. Not surprisingly, the war will be lead by the 'children of israel' under a man the Qur'an refers to as djergal. he will mislead everyone at first and people will love and revere him and will not see their mistake until it is too late. When the war is over, the israeli's will have won and everyone that allied themselves with israeli's will be devasated at the criminal country that is israel. By then they will see their mistake and they will notice that the children of israel do not care for anyone but themselves as israel would have betrayed its allies many times. Just like today, no on can say anything against israel. Not even the U.S. After the victory of the war, the world will be destroyed and the criminal israelis will be killed in the most terrible of ways and then there will be the resurrection and the jugement.
In the Bible, under the "resurrection" part, there will be a massive war as well. Lead by, not surprisingly, an israeli guy from israel. this man is referred to as the 'antichrist' and he will be loved and revered by everyone and will take that power to perform atrocities against humankind before everyone realizes their mistake. good christians will be removed from the fighting by something called the 'rapture'. everyone else will remain to be destroyed by the antichrist who will only serve the israelis. he will win the war and in those first moments of his glory, the world will be destroyed.
additional notes:
- in the extreamist form of the jewish religion practiced in israel, only the jewish are considered to be people. everyone else are animals. we only take human form so that the jewish will not be disgusted at us when dealing with us.
- as everyone else are animals made for the jewish, there is a festival in israel where non-jewish people are killed and baked into pies and eaten as a symbol that animals can be eaten and were made only for the jewish. (source: from my acquaintance that live in israel. she also told me that this is practiced by a minority of jews due to its nature but the practice is not repressed or shunned)
- israel refuses to abide by international laws that make complete humane sense if the laws go against their evil plans to take over the world.
P.S: you should read this book: 'protocols of the elders of zion'. it is supposedly fake but the position of israel today is reflected on the pages. it can't be a coincidence.

You can't fix his mistakes, only deal with them. I'd probably bang my head against the wall at why I had to inherit an absolute mess in Iraq when there wasn't a good reason to go there in the first place.
