What person has made the greatest impact on your life?

My personal role models are the women (married or single, doesn't matter) that take the time to LISTEN to their children.....Too often (I went through this when I was a child) mothers don't really TALK to their kids.........I make it a POINT to talk and listen to mine............Take care!!!!!!!!!

Probably my mom. When I was little I though Mommy was the best- she made meals, kept the house clean, she even knew how to drive!! (for a 3-yr-old, that's pretty cool!!)
As a teenager... well I was the usual arrogant know-it-all...
When I eventually grew up, became an adult,.. I've realized everything my mom did for me and my brothers- staying home, teaching us, caring for us, etc. Yes, there are things I plan to do differently with my kids, but all things considered, my mom did an awesome job- 5 kids and none are felons!...(lol) We're all good people-, honest, hard working, caring, etc.

I think this business of having a role model is waaay overrated. Some people may look up to another individual and follow his/her ideals, way of life, character etc. But I feel that life is one's own journey and you should learn through trial and error.

My grandpa was, and still has the biggest impact on my life. My grandpa meant the world to me and when he passed away it devastated me, and it still does to this day, but I don't make a decision without thinking what would he want me to do.
