Hmm, I've had drivers licenses in 9 different states from CA to CT and nowhere have I heard dyude. Some elongate the U in dude but that is the only exception I have heard. Where do you hear dyude?

It rhymes with the word, 'RUDE', FOOD,Allude, glued, screwed, valued etc etc
