He will probably be fine. Just keep an eye on him. Have him stay in the bathroom for awhile at the toilet. His body already knows that he has had to much and is trying to get rid of the excess alcohol. If he does want to go to bed make sure he lays on his side or stomach. You don't want him choking on his own vomit when he goes to sleep. Also, hold off on the water for now but make him drink lots of fluids when he gets up in the morning. If you have any concerns you can always take him to the hospital. Vomiting and sleep should do the trick but just keep a close eye on him.

If he's still responsive 30 minutes after his last drink, then he'll recover just fine. Alcohol is absorbed and metabolized by the body fairly quickly. So after 30 minutes from his last drink, he won't get any worse other than feeling bad.
By the way, responsive in this case means having any ability to move or make noises even if it's just a moan. If he passes out, you may want to check his breathing every now and then for an hour or so just so you won't worry.

Let him vomit, but don't let him choke on it! Ice chips are good or small sips of water. He should sleep after that. How much of WHAT drinks did he consume? Monitor his sleep. If you don't like it, call the ER and ask someone's opinion. He may need that if he's toooo drunk. Tripping, falling and puking is common to do after getting trashed, though. NO MORE BOOZE - DUMP IT OUT!!

Nah, if he doesn't drink much to begin with, he's not an alcoholic. He probably just wanted to have a good time and celebrate. This sounds like a party I went to last weekend and I haven't drank since. Don't worry about it, he'll be fine tomorrow.

water and sleep. My boyfriend just did that a couple months ago
I think its better for him to throw-up now, vs. in the morning.
so all you have to do is get him to drink a glass of water and wait until he passes out. He'll feel like crap in the morning, but he'll be fine by Monday

Let him sleep it off. Do not let him sleep on his back though. If he throws up in his sleep (while on his back) he could choke/drown on his puke. So I suggest laying him on his side, and put a bowl beside his mouth for him to throw up into. Let him sleep it off- besides a terrible hangover I think he'll be okay.

It's not alcohol poisoning if he's still able to stand. You would have to drink 20 beers to get alcohol poisoning. Trust me, he's fine.
