Absolutely Not, he's been truly Lucky to have done as well as he's done. He thinks he's going to have it made with Toyota but I don't feel he's much of a driver-he's simply been extremely Lucky and growing up around it has helped tremendously. He is good for his sponsors he some how able to make the public believe he's goody goody two shoes (family man and all). What I can Not understand is why he doesn't do something about his Hair! It looks worse every week! Atleast you'd think his wife would say something to him. After all it's certainly not like he couldn't afford the best do money can buy. I also am Glad (to say the least) that he didn't make the race and also that they wouldn't buy it for him-he Certainly doesn't Derserve it! We'll see what Toyota does for him. Right?

Whilst I am not surprised, what I did not like was last time He failed to qualify he paid off I believe it was Derek Cope and used His car painted with the NAPA scheme.
This time Nascar would not allow him to buy out someone else's ride.
I wonder how he will do in 2007 with his Toyota team? Hmmmm that might even make an interesting question to post.

I was not surprised.. I really like Mikey.. there are not that many drivers that are as friendly with the public as Mikey...I did not like it when he bought out the ride the last time he didn't qualify.. but I think that with Toyota he will do better.. I think that he should have stayed with DEI.. Don't forget guys... he does know how to win races... Remember him popping up out of the roof hatch???

getting real tired of him. kinda glad he didn't make it. the thing is the media made a huge deal about it. i am surprised they stressed he would not be buying his way it like he did earlier in the season. i thought that was a real poor move. maybe this knocked me down a peg or two. he started to get to big for his breeches in my opinion

not surprised that he didn't make the race, just surprised at NAPA's indifference to it. The Brickyard is comparable to Daytona, and they bought his way in at Charlotte.....now they act like they don't care. Something doesn't add up.

I LOVE Mikey he's my favorite!! ........................................................But No I'm not surprised in the least. I try to pick drivers that aren't that great so I don't get my hopes up. I think he is really funny though and he is smart it's just that he is such a big guy that driving really can't be his thing. Next year though him and Dale Jarrett! Yeah they are gonna be HOT!
