Gilligan's Island, because life is like being isolated and living with several people of such different backgrounds, and you just can't find someone so compatible and you just cant get off the island, though it be more serene than any other alternative.

LEAVE IT TO BEAVER, because it painted a very cool picture of post WW2 America, and it had a very innocent and optimistic quality. It promoted family values, AND had very good writing.
