You should talk to your manager first about the stuff that is bothering you...see if they will make any changes to make the working conditions better.

you know it's sad cause alot of people get treated bad at work but cant do much about it cause they need their job and have to take it .i've seen this kind of mean ,and rude actions at my own job with new people and also seen them quit but you know what all it is is jealousy they are afraid you are going to be a better worker then them .maybe they want you to quit but dont give them the benifit of the doubt hang in there they will get over it . i think all company's and jobs have bullys like at school but hang in there if you know what you have to do at work ignor every one and just do your job .i am kind of in a familiar situation at work but the differance is i'm the only one who speaks english and i believe the only one without fake papers and ss# but i've been there 9 years and i do my thing and go home ,good luck .screw them all .

Welcome to the world of work...yes, you'll run into people who treat you unfavorably. As for the person who has yelled at you, is that person your superior? Or is it just someone who is older? They are treating you like a child rather than a co-worker. To be fair, I'd point that out to them... and if a co-worker yelled at me, I'd tell them loudly that I'd had quite enough and that if it happens again that you'll report them to your boss. And do it if you have to! If your boss is the problem, tell him or her the same thing, except you'll report them to HIS or HER boss. It's time to be tough... don't just wimp out and quit. By the way, if you are being harrassed at work, there are laws against that kind of thing... you just might want to get your parents involved if necessary to get a good lawyer.

If your workplace is hostile, it is your manager or boss' responsibility to ensure it changes. If it does not change after speaking to your boss and tracking any actions and reactions of coworkers and management, I would send a letter to your boss - keeping a copy of course - and telling him or her that you quit and give specific reasons and examples. Then, go find another job ... you are still young and there should be plenty of other opportunities with other employers who will be more attentive to your needs.

Tell your manager you're sick of people being jerks. You may also want to find out why "everyone" is mean to you.

wow, i understand you situation perfectly. you do not have to put up with it. you should quit. do not let anyone make you or your life miserable. you deserve better. that calls bad enegry or negativity in the work place.
