I see a man who is a lot older than he feels, softer on the inside than he wants others to perceive, and who is not as respected as imagines he should be. Then again, I see a man who had to change his life at middle age, puts his own dreams aside to ensure his children's dreams are realized, remains faithful to loyal, loving wife, and who ultimately cares that his family should thrive at the expense of any of his personal fulfillment.

I see a woman who is a little more tired and older than I think I am. I need more sleep. I need more time to myself. I need to play more and do the things that make me who I know I am. I have two small children so I know one day I will again have time to myself and know myself well once again. Right now I am mostly just Mommy. But inside I am still a playful young girl that wants to stay up late talking about the mysteries of life with a friend or sit by a waterfall while writing in my journal.

When I look in a mirror? I see a person who is unhappy with someone elses opinion, but sometimes nice people drop by.

I see someone who I am happy with on the inside on the outside there is lot I am not happy with like the laugh lines I get around my eyes, or the sun spots from the sun when I was younger and more stupid.

I am happy with my Self.
I love my Self, and honor who I am and what I am.
Does not matter what others think.
What counts is how I feel.
