They're your thoughts. You don't have to show them to anyone if you don't want to. Writing isn't harmful, no matter what anyone says it's another form of expressing yourself (yes, even dark poetry).
I don't really think that poetry should be divided into 'dark' and 'nice' categories though. They blend too much to tell the difference between a lot of them.

Darker poetry is just an expression of a part of you that wants to be shown. If you want to show your parents then go ahead and do so. If you do and they have an issue with it, I suggest you explain the subject matter this way. "There is a part of me that wanted to come out and I felt that it would be better to express it on paper than in real life." Good luck, on your telling your parents and on writing more poetry!

it isn't bad to write dark poetry, because poetry is all about your feelings and you should tell your family. And you should explain to them why you write dark poetry, and if they do not understand the reason of your poetry, then you should simply... move out? But if they really don't understand, then maybe you should show them your dark poetry.

there's a saying alongside the strains: for each and each finger you factor, there is 3 pointing returned at you... seems to me which you are the bitter one! you are the only that feels think approximately all of it found out, which you in basic terms recognize the coolest purchase approximately a number of those 'fake' human beings. possibly you are the only that refuses to look concerns from the alternative's factor of view and what you may even see as fake could not actually be so. you are the only being spiteful precise here.

I see no harm in this...it's a form of expression & no different than writing in a journal. Keep writing ...it's good for you!
