what do you think of those teenagers who ignore their parents?

I think that all teenagers from time to time ignore their parents......when my daughter did it to me, I ignored her when she asked to use the car or for money...........She stopped ignoring me pretty quick.........LOL

It depends on the situation, the cousin's personality, and her parents'. Parents are human, and while they may have more experience, the decisions they make may not always be rational. A lot of people have parents who have mental disorders and addictions. There are parents who refuse to let their children engage in healthy, normal activities because of their own phobias.
But there are also a lot of kids who insist on learning things the hard way, and have to pay the price (i.e. unplanned pregnancy, genital warts, a night in jail, a wrecked car)

They have issues and they are in need of help.
