I think it`s great!!!But sometimes it`s not nice, because some people( americans) start to humiliate others just because they think they`re better.

What YOU think about that?

Nationalism has its good, bad and ahrmless points. Good points are that it has a otential of uniting a nation bewhind a certain cause and that itgives individuals a sense or worth and place. Home is everyhitng, it where a person lives, eats, breathes and workes, so pride best be taken in it. IT is bad because nationalism may lead to ignoring anyhitng bad about a ntioan. Someone may put off bad decisions to mere cliches as " a few eggs need to be broken..." or "we are better and our ideas need to be spread". In short strong nationalism may lead to ethnocentrsim and subsequent bad decisions. It is harmless in a sense because it gives a person a sense of something greater than him or herself. Simply look at a redsox or yankees fan, no matter twhat happens tehre3 is spport for their team.Support for soemthing greater.

Nobody ever said that to defend Liberty was going to be nice and easy. The countries that despise us the most are those who are the most jealous of our basic freedoms. Those freedoms have given us our amazing standard of living and set the pace for the rest of the world to follow. Now that a few countries have reached about 50% of our standard, they think they are the experts. They are like little brats trying to tell their parents how to run the family.

Nationalistic pride is one thing...trying to jam Americanism down the throats of countries and cultures that don't want it is quite another thing. We're called ugly Americans for a reason...better we should go back to a live and let live philosophy until we're directly threatened again, in which case we have every right to defend ourselves. This country so vehemently defends its own freedom (and those of our allies, even apparently the ones that backstab us), I think we should accept everyone else's right to be free. We're not better...we're different...but difference is one of the cornerstones of America to begin with...why can't we respect differences in the rest of the world?

I think nationalism is good.

Globalists hate it,but I disagree with them on many things.

Regarding intolerance, that is a separate issue. I see it more as a 'be true to your school' sort of thing. I respect those from other countries who are true to their own.

I think it is good and if some EU puke starts going off at the mouth about my country I'm going to put him in his place. America Rocks.
