Can you defend and give me a few reasons that states should use voting machines that do not produce a paper receipt or a receipt recountable by hand?

Open Voting found that by toggling a single switch it's possible to get Diebold's AccuVote TS touchscreen voting machine to boot from an unverified external flash drive instead of the device's built-in firmware, which is stored on an EPROM chip.

I'm not a republican but there has been clear evidence that the machines are not accurate.

Anyways, down these lines, wasn't there voting legislation in 2003 that was suppose to REQUIRE a paper receipt?

Sorry I'm not a Republican but I have to say this. They cannot give you a reason, because if we had voting machines that gave receipts, it would make it harder for republicans to steal the election. so it wont happen.

It is clear that the Dem's feel if they don't win it is the Republicans that cheated. In my state we get a receipt on how we voted. Now if the kept a running tally with a time & date stamp & they still lost they'd cry that the balot was no loner secret.

That's fine. It is okay if the voting stations require an ID to see if you are indeed the person you say you are?

Libraries do it, why not in voting places? Will the democrats use the lame argument that it disenfranchises blacks from reading because they have to show a valid ID at a library?

VOTING IS A SHAM! There are too many controversial recounts, to be considered legitimate.

The Republicans know that Republican backers own the companies that make the machines, so they really don't care.

Can you give me a reason why democrats want people to be able to just show up at polls and vote with no ID? (Other than so that illegals can vote or that sneaky dems can vote 10x in one day)?
