I doubt this will add hope to anyone's life, but I am getting a new heart this week. It is cutting edge technology in mechanical hearts, if I live through it.

Getting the long awaited new computer and printer. It will save me time and let me play games my old one will not permit. That way I can shut out all the repeat news on things like the middle east and drunken actors. The media is addicted to showing the same old stuff over and over and I am getting really turned off to the whole mess. I am particularly upset over showing the same footage of the north Koreans marching and showing off rockets. They must think the public is a bunch of morons. Why not show things that are less inflammatory.

I expect that the whole world will wake up and see the insanity and say, 'Oh, what have we been doing? How could we have been so blind?' Then everyone will sing and hold hands and try to buy the world a Coke.
Not very realistic, maybe, but it is upbeat.
