Well sometimes your best friend is your soul mate but if you cn handle taking the relatioship a step further just let him know you love him to death but not in that way . to be ohnest is best

well dear i have good news for you! you can be with a guy and them still be a bff! I know I married my bff of 6 years and we are still bff! and we have been married for 6 additional years. as a manner of fact hes the best friend i have ever known.
I am also still friends with one of my old high school flames! He and my hubby get allong and have become friends, he even lived with us for a while, while he got back on his feet after a divorce. I have made a love out of a friend and a friend out of a love!. It can be done.

just tell him how you feel, tell him that you dont want to be with him, that you like they way you to are, it might hurt his feelings but it will hurt him more later on if he thinks you are playing with his head.
