Freckles are most prevalent on people with red hair with very few exceptions.It is in there genes. An Asian with freckles will most likely have some Irish blood in their family tree.

I have freckles and am Asian but I'm a quarter Russian...but I do agree with you that full Asians don't get freckles.

hmmm... i'm an asian, i don't get freckles because i just tan. In my area, fair skinned girls are snow white fair without any freckles as they seeeeeeeellllllldddddddddoooooommmmmm do any outdoor activities and are mainly rich girls which can afford the comfort and luxury of travelling in their own car + use expensive cosmetics.

Thats a celtic thing, it comes with that chinsy Irish skin (like I have). I no longer have freckles but, as a kid I was loaded with them. When people used to say "Hey kid, where did u get all those freckles", I would reply "I won them in a crap game" !

because we aren't white. and if one is a light skinned asian, i guess that person can get freckles, like some (asian) people i know.

Most likely because of their skin pigmentation. People who are most likely to are blue-eyed blondes and redheads.
