good point about "other than jordan" ... and same thing with you, i also hate kobe but he's proven himself as maybe the closest player to jordan, i will give him the ball too ... other players i admire during clutch times were reggie miller and robert horry ...

I'm from a different generation of basketball fans than you are, but I know exactly what you're talking about in terms of hating a player but respecting him.
I was a Lakers fan in the 80s, when the Lakers had Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Rambis, etc. It was a great team--the "showtime" fastbreaks with Magic leading the way. But, there was one team, and one player that I despised. The Celtics, with Larry Bird, of course. I hated the team, I hated the fans, and I hated Larry Bird, but...the guy was AMAZING. If the game was close, you didn't want the ball anywhere NEAR him.
Take a look at this video, and you'll see several last-second three-pointers, as well as some flat-out amazing basketball. He just hustled every second he was on the floor, an amazing competitor.

Dirk Nowitzki. A pure shooter and should have won the NBA finals this year had refs not been calling ticky-tack(non-existent ) fouls against him for "looking" at Wade and if the NBA didn't hate Cuban so much to cheat to not see him raise the trophy! So there! Dirk takes my shot.
I also like Mr. Big Shot, Chauncey Billups. I have seen him make some clutch shots!

Next to Jordan this is an easy answer, Kobe Bryant. With Wade coming a close second.

Robert Horry. Swingman clutch 3-point shooter. If you watched the Finals Detroit vs. San Antonio you know what I'm talking about.

Carmelo Anthony. Throughout his career he has made 11 of 17 game winning shots. That's 64.7%, more than double the leaguewide average of 29.4%. You can't refute it, those are solid stats man, no bias, no personal opinon, just solid facts.
