ATTENTION ! It`s your responsability to do this. Depends on your hability and real necesity. Take care not to swallow or aspire fuel, it`s poisonous and could kill you.

Get a can as big or bigger than the amount you want to get out (if transparent or translucid better so you can see the level inside)and get a hose as long as double the depth of your tank line (measuring from the gas tank mouth to the bottom of the tank) a bit longer will do better, get also a medium plastic bag (kind of supermarket one). Put the can right down in the road side-aligned with the cars`s tank mouth. Insert the hose into the gas tank and make sure it goes through the line down to the bottom of the tank, some turns while inserting and pushing will help due to the sinuousity of the line. This is not very easy, but with some patience it will work. Once you think it went down completely take the free extreme of the hose, clean it and blow slowly through it to hear if it makes bubbles...if it does then the hose is at least inmersed in the fuel, if it doesn´t then you should continue pushing. Wrap the mouth of your car´s tank wit the plastic bag and fill the empty spaces left aroud the hose in the mouth... make sure you fill it very tight and hold it with one hand and then make ONE VERY STRONG blow into the tank through the hose (remember to keep one hand holding and ensuring the mouth is tightly filled with the bag) and then RAPIDLY put this extreme into your can. If your blow is STRONG ENOUGH the fuel will begins sipping down from the tank through the hose to the can. Once it happens remove the plastic bag caring not to pull the hose...then wait, it could be very slow. If your blow is not strong enough then probably either the fuel will not come out or it will come out but just a bit and stop at all...leaving you with the akward choice of blow again and taste the gasoline...wish you good luck. Once you finish, if your can is bigger than the tank then it will just stop, but if you see the can filling up to the top and fear it will spill out then just pull the hose from the tank at once.

You can add an octane booster to the tank. This will not hurt the fuel system. Run the fuel that is presently in the car until you get below a half a tank, then add super. This should protect the engine against what is call detonation (pinging).

I am a seventeen year veteran auto tech.

Get a siphon pump at an auto parts store: its a tube with a squeeze bulb at the top to fill the tube.

The ORIGINAL way (NOT recommended) is to stick a tube in the gas tank, then suck on the tube till its full of gas then put it down lower than the tank. Gravity will pull the gas out of the tank. DONT GET GAS IN YOUR MOUTH.

Pick up a can of octane booster at the auto parts store. It will be easier to add some than to siphon the other out.
