Good question!! Why are there not more conservatives signing up to fight and die in their little pet wars?

I don't know what the hell that first word is, but I'm sure that Repub kids are too busy going to yacht parties and their private school to deal with such menial chores. The poor and downtrotten on the other hand, are supposed to die in the same meaningless war that Repub kids flicker over so quickly to get to Laguna Beach on their HD plasma TVs.

What I find hypocritical is that the politicians who wanted this war almost all of them never fought in a war themselves. Bush got out of it by begging his father to help him get into the Texas air national guard ahead of 500 people who were on the waiting list. And then he could not even do that right. Went AWOL instead of going to Alabama. Cheney got 5 deferrals instead of going to Vietnam. Had other priorities he said. And then they brag about how much the love the country and how they want to defend her and when they had they chance to do that they put their tail between their legs. At least Gore and Kerry went to Vietnam.

I don't quit understand the term "POO_SEES" but I would have to agree that there are many, the majority of people our generation who would not even think about military service. They think their lives are above it, or their weak, whatever the reason. I don't know about republicans, but each party was represented well while I was in the military. In fact in the 2000 presidential election my platoon was told if your not voting for Bush then you can't vote. I've been democratic every since.

I am in the Army. I mainly vote republican. I can not disagree with this question. There are some exceptions. Those who are not qualified to be in the military. I can also understand (although I do not agree), if women who support the war do not join. I will encourage my daughter to join when she is old enough. You must fight for what you believe in or there is no point to believing in it.
